I was born in Bittburg, West Germany in 1974. I have also lived in West Virginia, North Carolina, England, Bermuda, Belgium, and The Netherlands. Currently, I live in New Jersey with my wife and cat. A former Rhysling award winner, I currently edit poetry books at Needfire Press. My current books include Wood Life: A Poem, Death In Common: Poems From Unlikely Victims, and Four Murders. Earned a MFA in poetry in 2004, from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Prior occupations included Disgruntled Adjunct Professor, which I left after nearly 10 years, to become a Disgruntled WalMart Employee. Currently, I work as a freelance writer, and I am not longer disgruntled.
