Via amazon today, I got books by Laura Mullen and C.D. Wright.  I guess, when I ordered last week, I was in the mood for some post-modernist poetry.  However, know that have the books in question, it’s interesting how something superficial has grabbed me.    Here is the cover to C.D. Forget, for a moment, that I bought both books based on the poet’s name and reputation.  Which one looks professional, and which one looks like an iUniverse reject?  Truth is, hadn’t I known the names of both, and saw both in the bookstore, I’d likely had picked up the Wright and browsed it, while leaving Mullen’s on the shelf.
