So, I pulled a no-no that newbie (in terms of publishing) writers do: I had a quiet spaz-out moment in the book store.  It was rather gleeful.  The 2009 Nebula Showcase was on the shelf at Barnes and Noble.  Naturally, I had to look for myself in the Table of Contents.  And then, of course, reread my 2007 Rhysling Award winning poem.   If this sounds like a bunch of idiotic silliness, it’s because it is a bit of idiotic silliness.  However, it’s my first time in a non-small press book, available just anywhere.  Give me time, if stuff like this keeps up, I’ll learn to be callous.  In the meantime, I got to wondering, “Where is my contributor copy?”
